Long Beach Motorsports Walk of Fame

The Long Beach Motorsports Walk of Fame is a proud display of the city’s love for motorsports. The Walk of Fame was created as a tribute to the Grand Prix of Long Beach, an annual tradition since 1975 and one of the longest running major street races in North America.

Nestled in the sidewalks of South Pine Avenue are 22-inch bronze medallions honoring key contributors to street racing. Each plaque includes a rendition of the racer’s car and a list of their top accomplishments. The walk proceeds up the center of the palm-lined sidewalk alongside the downtown Long Beach waterfront and next to the Long Beach Convention & Entertainment Center. Each year, during race week, new members are inducted into the Walk of Fame.
